How an employer of record helps you hire in Syria

Common questions about hiring in Syria
Can I hire employees in Syria without opening a company?
You can use NasBoard’s Damascus entity as the local employer, subject to a review of your hiring arrangement. We handle the employment contract and payroll.
Can my company hire in Syria?
It depends on your jurisdiction, the work and the parties involved. Broad US Syria sanctions ended in July 2025, but targeted restrictions and export controls remain relevant. We review each proposed engagement before signing.
How will the employee receive their salary?
We agree the payment method, currency and schedule before the employee starts. We also explain the invoice currency and any conversion terms for your company.
