Two markets, one board

Egypt

مصر

Plenty of engineering and back office talent, usually hired on contractor agreements nobody wants to defend in an audit.

  • EGP, USD, or both
  • Social insurance and tax filed monthly
  • Full European day overlap

Syria

سوريا

Skilled people, and almost no legal way to pay them from abroad. We hold an entity there so you do not have to.

Our services

One platform, every way to work

Hiring your first person or running payroll for a team you already have. Pick the model that fits.

Flagship

Employer of Record

Hire and pay employees in Egypt and Syria with no entity of your own. We hold employee contracts, the onboarding and the payroll.

Contractor of Record

We become the contracting party. The person invoices us, we pay them, and your agreement is with a company rather than an individual abroad.

Contractor management

You keep the contracts in your own name. We collect the paperwork, check the invoices and make sure everyone gets paid on time.

Payroll services

Already employ people locally? We run the payroll: calculations, deductions, payslips and records.

People onboarding

Send one invite. We gather the details, prepare the documents local law asks for, and track each person through to their first day.

Local HR support

Employment changes, records and offboarding, handled by people who know these two markets.

On the ground

Built by people
who are actually there

Employing someone in Damascus is not a form you submit from London. It needs a local entity, a local accountant and someone who can walk into the office.

  • Registered entities in the UAE, Egypt and Syria
  • Member of the Global Payroll Association
  • Founders with 15+ years in employment and payroll
  • Offices in Cairo, Dubai and Damascus, Arabic-first team
The problem

Why hiring in Egypt
and Syria goes wrong

Finding the person takes weeks. Paying them legally takes months.

Setting up a whole company to make one hire

Commercial registration, a tax card, a bank account that will actually open, a payroll provider, someone resident who can sign. Months of work before anyone gets paid.

The contractor agreement everyone quietly relies on

Someone works your hours, on your systems, under your direction. An inspector reads that as employment, whatever the PDF says. The back pay lands on you.

Actually getting the money there

Banking into Syria is narrow. Egypt has rules about foreign currency. Getting salary there every month is a job someone has to own, and it is not your finance team.

The global platforms skip these two

They do not operate in Syria, and Egypt gets a checkbox. So you run one vendor for everywhere else and a spreadsheet for here.

Employee record
Adding an employee in NasBoard: personal information, contact details and employment details
The answer

One record per person,
nothing in a spreadsheet

The liability is ours

We are the employer on paper, so inspections, arrears and disputes come to us.

Contracts that hold up

Arabic and English, written for local labour law, not translated from a US template.

Nothing piles up unseen

End of service, leave and gratuity build up where you can see them, from day one.

How it works

Three steps, then you are hiring

You pick the person. We carry employee contracts, payroll and legal exposure.

01

You pick the person

Your candidate, your offer, your number. Send us the name once you have decided.

02

We sign as the employer

A local contract in Arabic and English, under our entity. Insurance, tax and end of service start on day one.

03

You manage them on your board

Payslips, leave, expenses and documents in one place. One invoice a month.

Already have someone in mind? Send us the role and the salary you are thinking of, and we will come back with what that hire costs you in full.

What does an employer of record actually do?

An employer of record (EOR) legally employs someone on your behalf. We hold employee contracts, run payroll, file tax and social insurance, and carry the liability. The person still does your work and reports to your manager.

Do we need to register a company in Egypt or Syria?

No, that is the point of the model. You hire through our entities. No commercial registration, no tax card, no local bank account, no resident director.

How do people actually get paid?

In Egyptian pounds, Syrian pounds or USD, same date every month. You settle one invoice in your currency and we handle the local leg.

Is it legal to hire in Syria right now?

The sanctions picture changed a lot through 2025. We screen every engagement against your jurisdiction and ours, and tell you on the first call if yours does not clear.

What does it cost?

A flat monthly fee per employee, on top of salary and statutory employer costs. Nothing taken out of what your hire is paid.

When do you open?

We are onboarding a first group of companies now. Early access puts you in it, and your questions shape what we build.
